Bitten By Books review of K.T. Pinto's Celeste: The Books of Insanity 1

Sally gave K.T. first installment in the Books of Insanity series 4.5 Tombstones.

"Celeste is a terrific dark fantasy novel. KT Pinto has written a richly detailed story. The vampyre society/hierarchy is incredibly interesting. The setting of the novel is historical and is nicely done. The major characters are multidimensional and well developed. Celeste is fascinating as she copes with life before and after she becomes a vampyre in a world dominated by men. Celeste uses sex both as a weapon and a gift. She is an incredibly strong woman/vampyre though she is certainly not without flaws, one of which is caused by her vampyric sire. Celeste is sometimes vicious, sometimes amusing, often sarcastic, but never dull. This is a novel that I would read again. I give it 4 ½ Tombstones."
